The Lake Murray Association has partnered with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, Lake Murray Power Squadron, and SouthShore Marina to offer boating instructions and boating safety course designed exclusively for women.
Participants will learn essential boating skills from experienced and patient instructors, including how to operate watercraft in open water, principles of docking a boat, backing a boat trailer, and basic engine & safety checks. Additional boating skills and safety techniques will also be covered throughout the day.
Representatives from the Lake Murray Association will provide lunch, refreshments, and help coordinate activities to ensure a fun and educational day on the lake all for just $60.
